Tell me, why am I trying to get all the trophies for this game? There’s not even a platinum! Am I insane?
What started as a decent casual experience, quickly has devolved into a repetitious nightmare. This game… It is such a grind! And it’s not even interesting enough to warrant the amount of time required to unlock all the trophies. Especially since there isn’t even a platinum. While it is a mostly unpleasant experience to play this game, there are a few cool concepts within. Stuff I would like to see in a better game. For example, I like how upgrading your units work. But, in contrast, upgrading your bus sucks. It is convoluted and seems mostly useless. The only reason to upgrade your bus is to further upgrade your units.

All of this culminates in a pay-to-win experience. Not that you necessarily have to pay for any in-game purchases, but doing so will very clearly speed up the grind by a considerable amount.
The problem with this is that… The game is bad. It isn’t fun. It runs poorly, there is a lot of slowdown. And on the Vita, it is incredibly hard to see what’s happening on the screen. Especially when you go to upgrade your bus. This game is just a mess! Not even in a fun way.

I hate being so negative here. But I hate the game itself even more. I thought it would be fun! I thought it would be a great pick-up and play experience. But it just isn’t. Maybe I am missing something though. There is a wiki available for Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare. Most people who play it seem to enjoy it, it has a sort of cult following. But this one just isn’t for me. I say, but… I’m still going to unlock all the trophies. I only have one or two left, might as well. But I will, no doubt, be dreading every minute of it.
…yeah, I might be insane (actually).

I do like the art style though.
